Tap Into Your Feminine Divine Energy This Women’s History Month
Celebrate womankind and get inspired for change this March by diving into women’s history and tapping into your feminine divine energy with crystals from Good Vibes Only.
March is Women’s History Month, which means we have thirty-one whole days to recognize, celebrate, and amplify the women who have moved the world forward and made an impact. It’s also a time to reflect on all the women who never got credit for their work and the women who never had the opportunity to pursue their dreams and passions.
But Women’s History Month is about more than just getting informed. It’s about getting inspired to make meaningful change, because the patriarchy is still alive and well, and women still face systemic barriers that slow them down, stifle their voices, and deny them opportunities to realize their full potential.
So, as we take this month to honor women, we still have progress to make and changes to fight for. And for that fight, we need both inspiration and energy. In this post, I’ll offer a little bit of both, including a look at major milestones in women’s history, how to honor women today and in the future, and how to use crystals to tap into your feminine divine energy.
Major milestones for women in history
One of the most important ways you can celebrate Women’s History Month is to educate yourself on all the amazing strides women have made, as well as the hurdles that still stand in the way of justice and equality.
You may be surprised at just how far women have come, and in how short a time. Consider, for example, that women only won the right to vote just over 100 years ago, in August 1920. And it was even more recently, in 1948, that women were able to join the US military — a right signed into law by President Truman with the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act.
It wasn’t until the 1970s and the introduction of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act that women could get a credit card in their own name, without the permission of their husband. Women’s History Month itself is also relatively new, having been introduced in the 1980s, starting off first as a day of celebration, then growing into a week, and finally having a whole month dedicated to it.
The work ahead to achieve equality
But as many of us know, the work of women’s liberation is far from over.
Today, the wage gap between men and women is as high as 18% on average. Women’s sports receive a fraction of the coverage that men’s sports do, and female athletes are paid far less than their male counterparts.
Ways to honor women this March
Despite these significant obstacles to self-determination and self-actualization, women continue to evolve and claim their place in the world, carving out roles as teachers, doctors, authors, content creators, political leaders, business owners, and more.
Pioneering women, both from the past and today, deserve our attention and accolades, now and always. Here are some simple ways to connect with and honor them throughout March and the rest of the year:
- Read books by women authors
- Watch TV shows and movies with women leads
- Support women-owned businesses
- Follow women content creators on social media
